MSNBC NewsArcade

Last summer, the gang at DreamAuthentics - in partnership with Microsoft, a Toronto web design firm called Fuel Industries, and a very cool ad agency out of NY called SS+K - built MSNBC a custom video arcade system called NewsArcade. The NewsArcade is an interactive kiosk that lets folks play games, get their news and watch advertisements - all at the same time. Its very cool. The basic idea is to use the “sentimentality” of arcade cabinets, and unify that with high end Internet technology. The NewsArcade cabinets are in several locations around the country - including MSNBCs NY Times Square Digital Cafe. In fact, you can often see the cabinets on The Today Show.
